ACCESSIBILITY TRAINING POLICY

ALL PEOPLE WORKING FOR OR VISITING VERSATILE ARE TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY. VERSATILE CONSIDERS PEOPLE FOR EMPLOYMENT BASED ON NOT WHAT THEY CAN’T DO BUT WHAT THEY CAN DO. ASSISTIVE DEVICES: THOSE ENTERING THE MANUFACTURING AREA HAVE ACCESS TO THE FACILITY. AEROSPACE PRODUCTION AREA MAY BECOME OFF LIMITS AT TIMES DURING PRODUCTION. CARE AND ASSISTANCE IS TO BE GIVEN AS NEEDED FOR THOSE WITH ASSISTIVE DEVICES. COMMUNICATION: FOR THOSE TIMES WHEN VERBAL COMMUNICATION IS NOT POSSIBLE, THE USE OF A “WHITE BOARD AND MARKER” ARE TO BE USED. SERVICE ANIMALS: WHEN SERVICE ANIMALS ARE USED, THE OWNER MUST CALL FIRST PRIOR TO VISITING VERSATILE. EMPLOYEES MUST BE AWARE OF THE ANIMAL. THOSE WITH ALLERGIES OR CONCERNS ABOUT DOGS WILL BE KEPT AWAY FROM THE SERVICE ANIMAL. FOR HYGIENE REASONS, THE SERVICE ANIMAL IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE PAINTING FACILITY AREA. MEETINGS: MEETINGS AND DISCUSSIONS ON THE ACCESSIBILITY ACT WILL BE HELD AT THE SAME TIME AS OUR REGULAR HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. THE MINUTES AND FEEDBACK FORMS WILL BE POSTED WITH THE HEALTH AND SAFETY MINUTES.
